This Privacy Policy describes how CodexSkin (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you visit codexskin.online, create an account, buy a skin, or use the free generators.

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Account data — email address, display name, and authentication details from our sign-in providers (for example email magic link, Google, or GitHub when enabled).
• Order data — product purchased, order number, payment status, and the skin unlocks tied to your account. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor (for example Stripe); we do not store full card details on our servers.
• Delivery data — which skins you download, entitlement IDs, Engine version, and license metadata needed to re-issue a signed package.
• Usage & device data — pages viewed, approximate region from IP, browser and device type, and referral information.
• Support messages — whatever you send to support@codexskin.online.
• Local generator drafts — images you upload for the free skin generator are processed in your browser for preview when possible. We only receive generator draft metadata if you start a paid DIY export checkout.

We use information to:

• Create and secure your account
• Process payments and deliver signed skin packages
• Let you re-download skins you already own
• Operate, debug, and improve the site
• Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations
• Respond to support requests
• Measure marketing performance with analytics tools you can typically control via browser settings

We do not sell your personal information.

We rely on trusted processors that only receive what they need to do their job:

• Payment processors (for example Stripe) for checkout
• Hosting / database providers for the website and order records
• Auth providers for sign-in
• Email delivery for login or transactional mail when enabled
• Analytics (for example Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) for aggregated product insights

These providers process data under their own terms and security controls. Payment card data is tokenized by the payment provider.

We use cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions, preference, and analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; some features (especially checkout and My skins) will not work while signed out.

Account, order, entitlement, and download records are kept for as long as needed to provide re-downloads, handle disputes, meet tax/accounting rules, and prevent abuse. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request. Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider settings.

Depending on where you live (for example EEA/UK GDPR or California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing.

Email support@codexskin.online with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify the account email before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

CodexSkin is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may process and store information in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. If you access the site from another region, you understand your information may be transferred internationally and protected under the safeguards those providers offer.

We may update this page when the product or law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
